Product Description
For those who want to make their own wax fabrics at home.

This kit contains 2 capsules (each weighing ~36 gr).

For those who want to produce their own wax fabrics. The capsule contains the solution used in Mumo production.

With the whole kit, you can make one introduction set (small(20x20x cm) / medium(26x26 cm) / large(32x32 cm) / giant(33x61 cm) or 4-piece large set (32x32 cm). There is no fabric in this kit.

Ingredients: Beeswax, coconut oil, pine resin

How to use?
You can renew old beeswax fabrics with this kit. You can adjust the amount of solution you will use according to the usage of the beeswax fabrics. In the renewal process, less solution can be used compared to making beeswax food storage fabric from scratch.

If you want to make your own fabric, we recommend using cotton (preferably poplin) fabric.

There are 2 ways to use the home-made kit.

Baking: Place a fabric of the size you want on a baking sheet on greaseproof paper. Spread the capsule content on the fabric by tearing it into small pieces. You can use scissors or a knife to tear it apart. Leave it in the oven heated to 100 degrees for 10 minutes. Then, spread the liquid content evenly on the fabric with a brush or an old piece of fabric, and hang it somewhere to dry. Clothes hangers and clothespins can be useful for drying.
Ironing: Take a fabric of the size you want and place it on wax paper. Cut the capsule into appropriate amounts and distribute it on the fabric. Gently move the heated iron over the wax paper covering the fabric, ensuring that the content is thoroughly absorbed into the fabric, and hang it somewhere to dry. When your fabrics cool down, do not forget to wash them before using them.

Why This Product?
We recommend that you use the home-made kit to support the circular economy and upcycling, to renew old fabrics, and to evaluate your waste fabrics.
